2012, January – CES

Napa Acoustics’ exhibition in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas was a great success! Hundreds of industry veterans, press, reviewers, importers and audio dealers visited us during the show. Our products drew raves for their unique design, great sound and very competitive pricing.
Here are some quotation from the show:

"..Wharfdale and Napa Acoustic presented a great sounding compact system for less than I typically pay for a power cord. The Wharfdale 10.1 speaker ($349) were paired with a Napa Acoustic NA-208CD players ($399) and NA-208A hybrid integrated amplifier ($399).."

"..this little $300 CD player [with headphone jack] and similarly low-priced integrated on the Wharfedale speakers sounded better than many, many $100K+ systems at the show which were driven by a laptop. By better I mean is sounded more like music; more melodious, better harmonics, better PRaT, better continuousness, less edginess. Better.."

"..I listened to the NA-208A along with Napa’s NA-208CD CD player ($399), driving Wharfedale’s excellent Diamond 10.1 loudspeakers ($350/pair), and the sound was easy to listen to, easy to enjoy, and bigger than one might expect from such a modest system..."

"..Fremont California-based Napa Acoustic displayed its NA-208CD Player ($399) which sounded arrestingly good through a pair of diminutive Wharfedale 10.1 speakers ($349/pr.) driven by Napa’s 208A hybrid integrated amplifier ($399).."
2011 September – RMAF

The Rocky Mountain Audio Festival in Denver gave all of us at Napa Acoustic a great opportunity to meet audio enthusiasts from all over the western US. Music played continuously and our room was busy with people from age 11 on up who shared a love for every type of music imaginable!

Many of our visitors who found Napa designs so irresistible...they bought some!

2011 July – CAS

"..Napa Acoustic seemed to have a million and one pretty little things on display.
We listened to the Mistral 35Wpc MT-34 tubed integrated amplifier ($1199) and Mistral BOW-A3 loudspeakers ($1699/pair). Delivering a violin piece, the system created a thrilling sound, full of speed and sibilance.."

"..I always marvel at the sound of Napa Acoustics’ little systems. The Fremont, CA-based company was demming their $598 system when I entered. (Can you believe they have even smaller systems available)? Not only does the hardly gargantuan mating of NA-208A hybrid amp ($399) and NA-208S loudspeakers ($199/pair)  look adorable, but the female vocalist they were playing was also loads of fun to listen to.."

"..Upon walking into the Napa Acoustic room, I heard many expressions of awe and disbelief as attendees searched for subwoofers and asked, again and again, if the products’ stated prices were correct. Indeed, the system here—Napa NA208 A amplifier ($399), NA208S speakers ($199), and DT-307C CD player ($399)—filled the room with solid, believable sound and music..."

"..Entry-level audiophile gear from Napa Acoustic made an immediate strong impression. Their NA-208S ($199 a pair) speakers, mated with their NA-208A ($399) tube integrated, 25-watt amplifier sounded rich, with lots of detail. Napa's build quality is the best I've seen for budget-priced gear.."
